As the most nervous learner driver ever I certainly gave the "No challenge to big" statement a good go!

After having lessons on and off for over 9 years with 7 different instructors I was sure I would never be ready to sit my driving test, but I was given Kev's number and thought I would try one last time.

I booked my driving test and gave Kev the challenge to get me test ready in only a few weeks and I passed first time! :)

Needless to say I think Kev is an amazing instructor and gave me the skills to drive for life and not just to pass my test.  I am confident on the road now due to the help I received to get used to my car after I had passed my test too.

Having Kevin teach me to drive was a great experience. Kevin is a fantastic teacher. He helped me to understand key concepts of driving as well as keeping me interested through teaching methods and feedback at the end of every lessons. The way Kevin teaches is great, I improved my driving ability quickly and passed both my theory and practical tests first time, thanks to Kevin's help. I will never forget what Kevin told me: "I'm teaching you to drive for life, not to pass your test." This has truly applied to me.

Kevin made my experience of learning to drive fun and enjoyable. He was very honest about my driving abilities, and kept a record to monitor my progress, and what we needed to work on to achieve a test pass.

He was flexible, picking me up from home or college, depending upon my timetable, and was always punctual. Overall a great driving experience.

I would highly recommend Swales Driving School for tuition. Kev is an encouraging and professional instructor. I have a burn injury to my hands and face so I was incredibly nervous about sitting in a car with a complete stranger to learn to drive, but Kev was fantastic and ensured that every lesson was friendly and relaxed. He respected ‘personal space’ within the car without fault and seems to adapt really quickly to different personalities. He sets down goals at the beginning of a lesson and didn’t take long to recognise my weaknesses and address them. I never thought I’d become a driver but with his expert tuition I passed first time! Always punctual (usually early!) he took the time to explain the manoeuvres in great detail and to answer my (often daft!) questions and listen to my concerns as a learner driver. I’m confident he’s taught me not just the skills to pass but also to be a safe and confident driver for life.
